Description
Delmonden Manor House is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame that is clad with painted brick and tile hanging, topped by a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a hipped roof and stacks located to the left, right, and at the rear centre right on the rear wing. The hip end of this wing oversails the ridge of the main block.
To the right, there is a hipped dormer, while to the left is a gabled cross wing that includes a moulded bressummer and pendant bargeboards. The centre of the gable projects outward and features a moulded bressummer jettied on brackets, along with moulded bargeboards and a pendant, both containing wooden casements. The left side has tripartite glazing bar sash windows on each floor, with a cornice on the ground floor. The first floor has four wooden casements, while the ground floor has two wooden casements and half-glazed doors located at the end right and centre left, the latter set within a 20th-century columned porch. There is also a 20th-century single-storey extension to the left.
