Description

Keepers Cottage is a 17th-century house situated on the south side of Delmorden Road in Hawkhurst. The house is timber framed and exposed with plaster infill, with tile hanging to the right return. It has a plain tiled roof, resting on a stone base. The building is single storey with an attic, featuring large panel framing and a half-hipped roof with a stack to the left. There are two hipped dormers. An outshot projects to the left, with a small casement window at mezzanine level. The ground floor has three irregularly sized wooden casement windows, and a boarded door is centrally positioned in a large, framed porch. A catslide outshot extends to the rear.
