Description

Lea Farm is a house dating from the 18th century, which incorporates earlier timber and was extended in the early 20th century. The building features a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a plain tiled roof, while the return elevations are finished in red brick. It stands two storeys high, with a half-hipped roof to the right and a stack at the left end. On the first floor, there are two three-light wooden casement windows, with three more on the ground floor, including one in an added bay at the right end. A ribbed plank door is located to the centre left, sheltered by a trellised porch with a flat hood. At the rear, there is a catslide out-shot and a single-storey hipped extension from the late 20th century. The interior retains a frame and inglenook of late character.
