Description
Delmonden Farm House is a house that dates from the 16th century or earlier, with alterations and extensions made in the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a timber frame and is tile hung, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, sitting on a brick base, and boasts a large hipped roof that steps and projects to the left. There are stacks at the end left and a moulded lozenge-set cluster of stacks at the centre right. The house includes two hipped dormers and has two 4-light mullioned and transomed casements on each floor, along with a central casement. The entrance is through a boarded door located in a rendered and slate-roofed porch to the centre right, which has an arched doorway and narrow side-lights. At the rear, there is a lower hipped wing and a one-storey extension to the rear left, featuring boarded and half-glazed doors and irregular wooden casements.
