Description

Brookgate Farmhouse is an L-shaped house that dates from the 17th century or earlier and was refaced in the 19th century. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring two windows and one gabled dormer. The ground floor is constructed of red brick, while the upper level is tile-hung. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casement style. A notable feature is the massive shouldered red brick chimney breast located at the south end of the south wing.
