Description

Tudor Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. It features a timber frame on a rendered plinth, painted brick infill, and a tiled roof. The building consists of two framed bays aligned east to west, with a lower framed bay at the west end and gable end stacks. There is a 20th-century extension to the east. The south front has one storey with an attic, which is illuminated by two raked top dormers. The ground floor has five windows, mostly 2-light 20th-century casements. The entrance is located to the right in the 20th-century extension. The framing includes three square panels high with straight angle braces, and the gable trusses feature two collars with multiple struts.
