Description
Camberwell Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the mid-19th and mid-20th centuries. It features a timber frame with painted brick and rendered infill, set on a coursed rubble plinth, and is topped with a tile roof. The building consists of two framed bays oriented north to south, with a brick stack located at the southeast gable end. The west front has one storey with an attic, which is illuminated by two gabled dormers. On the ground floor, there are two three-light casement windows, and the entrance is located at the left-hand gable end. The framing includes two rectangular panels below one square panel, and the gable-end trusses are simply designed with collars.
