Description
Rush Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates back to the 16th century, with alterations and additions made in the 18th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame that is clad in brick, along with a brick extension set on a sandstone plinth and a hipped tile roof. The building has a T-shaped plan, with the stem extending to the north consisting of three framed bays, a cross-wing, and 18th-century additions that include a centrally placed stack. The south front has two storeys with an attic, which is lit by hipped dormers on the side walls. There are two windows on the upper floor, each with three-light casements, and the ground floor has similar windows but with segmental heads. The entrance is located at the north-west angle of the T.
