REDDITCH B MOORS LANE (end of) SP 06 SW 4/134 Mouch Farmhouse

Farmhouse, now house. C17; altered and extended mid-C20. Timber-framed with rendered infill, brick replacement walling and refacing and plain tiled roof, with banded decoration. Two framed bays aligned east/west, external chimney with offsets at west gable end. Two storeys. Framing: five panels from sill to wall-plate; collar and tie-beam truss with lower raking struts visible at west gable end. Windows are all C20 leaded case- ments. North front elevation: ground floor has a 2-light window and a bay window; two first floor 2-light windows; C20 door with lean-to tiled canopy to left. Interior: noted as having large fireplace in west wall. Large C20 addition at east gable end is of three bays each decreasing in height and with small single-storey wings to front and rear It is possible that the original part is all that survives of a larger framed structure on the site.
