Description

This is a house with origins in the 17th century, significantly remodelled in the mid-19th century and altered again in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick with a machine-tiled roof and a central ridge stack. The house is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows are all 20th-century casements, with a 2-light and a 3-light window on the ground floor, both with cambered heads. Two 2-light windows are located on the first floor. The right-hand entrance has a lean-to canopy supported by brackets and a 20th-century door. Some timber framing survives at the rear of the house, and it is believed to have originally been an outbuilding associated with No. 6, which stands to the west. The building occupies a prominent position at a main road junction in Feckenham. It is included in the listing for its group value.
