Description
Rectory Farm House is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations and extensions made in the 18th century and restored in the 20th century. It has a timber-framed core that is clad in colourwashed brick, and features plain tiled roofs that are hipped and lower over the rear wings, stepping down to the left. The house is two storeys high and has an end ridge stack to the left and a ridge stack to the right of centre.
On the first floor, there are three 3-light casement windows with cambered heads, and one blocked window to the right of centre. The ground floor has two 3-light cambered head windows on the left and one sash window on the right. There is a half-glazed door to the right of centre, which has leaded margin lights beneath a cambered arch in a hipped roof, and a half-open porch supported by braced posts on brick walls. To the left, there is an extension that is set back, featuring one window on each floor and a further half-glazed door from the 20th century.
