Description
Pleasant Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with 20th-century extensions added to the rear and left sides. The exterior features roughcast cladding and a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys high, with a wooden eaves board and rendered end stacks, one of which is dated 1736. The front facade is regular, displaying three glazing bar sash windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, with the top two panels glazed, set in a jowled wood surround and topped with a flat hood. The rear extensions have flat roofs and are boarded on the right side. Inside, the ceiling joists are exposed.
