Description

The Jenkins Tomb, located two yards east of the Church of St John the Baptist in Windlesham, is a chest tomb dating from 1797, dedicated to George Jenkins. It is made of stone and features panelled sides, a flat lid with a moulded edge, and oval inscription fields on the sides. The corners are adorned with recessed gadrooned piers. At the time of the last survey, part of the tomb was buried.
