Description
Walnut Tree Farm House is a 16th-century house located in Windlesham. It has a timber frame that is clad in red brick at the front, while the rear features an exposed frame with brick infill. The house has a thatched roof and consists of one storey with an attic, which includes four dormer windows that extend through the eaves and one casement window at the left end of the first floor.
There is a large ridge stack on the left of the center, topped with an oversailing feature, and a smaller stack on the right. The ground floor has five windows, all but one of which are located on the left and are topped with cambered heads. There are glazed doors to the left and right of the center, also under cambered heads. A pentice roof porch is set back at the right end and features a ribbed and studded door.
There is a 20th-century hipped roof brick extension that is set back and extends to the right, as well as another extension at the left end that is weatherboarded on the first floor. The rear of the house has pentice roof extensions to the left and right of the center. Inside, the frame is visible, primarily on the ceiling, and there are deep brick fireplaces.
