Description

This chest tomb, located 3 yards south of the south wall of the Church of St John the Baptist, dates from 1791 to an unknown date, as the inscription is illegible. It is made of stone and stands on a moulded plinth. The tomb features panelled sides and an inscribed flat lid with a moulded edge. It also has recessed angle piers that are adorned with moulded bases and capitals.
