Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-18th century and the 20th century. It has a timber-frame structure with painted brick infill and a painted brick addition, topped with a tile roof. The building is L-shaped, with one limb extending south made of 19th-century brick, and the other limb to the east is a 17th-century timber-framed range consisting of two bays. This range features an integral stack on the east gable and a projecting bread oven.
The south front has a gabled wing on the left, which is one storey high with an attic that is lit by gabled dormers on the east side and a gable window. The other range is also one storey with an attic, similarly lit by a gabled dormer. The front has three windows: a 3-light casement and a 2-light casement. The entrance is located in the east wall of the projecting wing, which has a tiled lean-to canopy and a ledged door.
