Description

The Old Shop is a house from the early 19th century that has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with gable-end stacks. The building stands three storeys high and has stone-coped verges and a dentilled brick cornice. There are three windows on the front, which are glazing bar sashes with brick wedge lintels; the central window is blind, while the second floor has 8-pane sashes. The ground floor includes a central entrance that is topped with an open pediment, a radially glazed fanlight, and a half-glazed door.
