Description
Wellington House is a house built in the early 19th century, with alterations and additions made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped slate roof with end brick stacks that have offsets. The building stands three storeys tall and has a modillion eaves cornice. It has three bays, with ground and first floor windows that are glazing bar sashes, complete with moulded architraves and cambered heads. The second floor windows have been replaced with 20th-century two-light casements. The central entrance is distinguished by a pediment, entablature, and pilasters, and it features half-glazed double doors with reveals that have raised and fielded panels. The interior has not been inspected, and there are 20th-century additions at the rear.
