Description
Stirline House is an early 19th-century brick house located on Holt Fleet Road in Ombersley. It features a plain tiled roof and brick end stacks, standing two storeys tall with an attic. The house has a dentilled eaves cornice and is arranged in three bays, with all windows being 3-light casements that have cambered heads. The central entrance is distinguished by an open pediment and a pilastered surround, with the pilasters adorned with quatrefoil panels on the capitals. The entrance door is a six-panelled design, with the upper two panels glazed and the lower four raised and fielded, complemented by raised and fielded reveal panels. There are attic lights in the gable ends. Although the interior has not been inspected, a Norwich Union fire insurance mark is set above the central first-floor window. The house is included for its group value.
