Description

Stonecroft Cottage is a house built around 1820 to 1830, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and has a slate roof with gable-end stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and features a sill band. There are three windows: the central window is blind, while the other two are 6-pane sashes, each with plain stone architraves. The central entrance is flanked by two glazing-bar sashes and has a semi-circular head with impost blocks and a radially glazed fanlight above a 6-panel door. To the right of the main structure, there is a contemporary lower block that contains the services.
