Description
Cookhill Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 16th century, with alterations made in the early 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame that is clad in brick, topped with a tiled roof. The building is arranged in an L-shape, with the main range extending to the south and another range to the west. There is a stack on the west gable and another stack at the junction of the two ranges.
The west front of the farmhouse has one storey with an attic, which is lit by a gabled dormer window located on the main range to the right. On the ground floor, the main range has a three-light casement window with a segmental head to the right of the entrance, which is framed by a wooden architrave and features a ledged door. The cross-wing to the left has a single-light casement window on the ground floor.
