Description
Little Knighton Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with an early 19th-century addition and late 20th-century alterations. It features a timber frame with painted brick and rendered infill, along with a brick addition and a tiled roof. The building has a T-plan layout, with the main timber-framed section extending to the east and a cross-wing made of brick added in the early 19th century. There is a stack at the junction of these sections, as well as gable-end stacks on the cross-wing.
On the north front, there are two framed bays to the left, which are one storey high with an attic that is lit by a gabled dormer. The ground floor has three 20th-century casements, with the one on the right located in a recently blocked doorway. The cross-wing to the right is blind, with the top of its stack removed and tiled. The framing consists of two and three square panels high, supported by straight angle braces.
