SP 05 NW INKBERROW CP BOUTS LANE (east side) Bouts 5/64 Big Bouts Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably C16 with mid-C18 and C19 alterations. Timber-frame clad in brick, tile roof. T-plan, stem extending to north, cross-wing at south end apparently a C18 addition; main stack centrally placed in the two-bay north/south range. West front: one storey with attic lit by two gabled dormers to left; to right the cross-wing of two storeys with attic lit by gable window, below which is a 2-light casement with segmental head to each floor, range to left has two casements with a secondary entrance to left; main entrance in angle with lean-to canopy and ledged door. Framing: one main post is exposed in the front wall.
