Description

White Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. It features a timber frame with rendered infill and a thatched roof. The building consists of two framed bays aligned east to west, with a gable-end stack at the east end that has an open hearth on the east side. The south front has one storey on the left-hand bay and one storey with an attic on the right, which is lit by an eyebrow dormer. On the ground floor, there are three 20th-century casement windows and a central entrance that is topped by a gabled tiled canopy supported by plain wooden posts.
