Description
Little Croft is a house dating from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with rendered and painted brick infill set on a rubble plinth, topped by a thatched roof. The building consists of two framed bays arranged east to west, with external rubble gable-end stacks that support square-plan brick shafts. The north front has one storey with a gable-lit attic and includes three 2-light casement windows on the ground floor. The entrance, located to the left of centre, has a 20th-century ledged boarded door. The framing consists of three square panels high with straight tension braces, and the west gable truss includes a collar and two tiers of trenched purlins.
