Description

Rectory Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century, restored in the 1980s. It is a timber-frame building with rendered infill panels set on a rendered plinth, and has a tile roof. The house has two framed bays aligned east to west, with an external gable-end stack to the west. It is a single storey building with a gable-lit attic. There are two two-light casement windows, and the entrance, situated to the right of centre, has a 20th-century half-glazed door. The timber framing is arranged in three square panels high. The gable-end truss features two struts to the collar, with V-struts in the apex.
