Description
The Parks is a farmhouse dating from around 1600, with 20th-century alterations. It features a timber-framed structure with a sandstone rubble plinth and stacks topped with brick shafts. The building has 20th-century plastered infill and a synthetic slate roof. It is designed in an L-shape, with wings aligned southwest to northeast, connected at the northeast end and extending to the northwest. There are axial and lateral stacks, with entrances located on the northeast side and at the west angle of the L.
The main entrance front displays the gable end of the cross-wing to the left, with a smaller gabled addition to the right. A three-light 20th-century casement window is present, along with a two-light casement window in the gabled addition. There is a small four-pane window on the right-hand return and a second wing to the right featuring another two-light casement window. To the left of a two-light 20th-century window, there is a lean-to 20th-century porch with a part-glazed door. The gable end of the wing has a three-light 20th-century casement window. The interior is not accessible for viewing.
