Description
No 2 Midsummer Meadow is a pair of houses built in the late 17th century, with alterations from the early 19th and 20th centuries. The structure features a timber frame with painted brick and rendered infill, topped by a thatched roof. It consists of two framed bays that run north to south, with an additional brick bay added in the 19th century to the south. There is an external stack at the junction of the framed part and another stack at the south gable. The building is one storey high, with an attic that is lit by an eyebrow dormer in the 19th-century section on the right. The façade includes three plus two windows, which are various 20th-century casements. The central entrance to the framed part has a thatched porch and a ledged door, while there is another entrance to the left of the brick section, featuring a wooden frame and a brick segmental head. The framing consists of three square panels high.
