Description

No 1 is a house located on School Lane in Bretforton, dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations made in the mid-19th and mid-20th centuries. The building features a timber frame with brick infill, partially covered in roughcast, and has a roughcast rubble gable end that includes a stack. It has a thatched roof and consists of two framed bays that are aligned with the gable end facing the road. The west front has one storey with an attic, which is lit by an eyebrow dormer, and there are two 3-light casement windows below. The entrance is located on the opposite side of the house.
