Description
Numbers 67 and 69, along with the attached rear garden wall, are a house, later divided into two separate dwellings. The main structure dates to 1605 and was restored in 1877, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of lias stone with Cotswold stone dressings and a roof. It has two chimney stacks set into the ridge. The house is single-storey with an attic, which is lit by three dormer windows, each featuring stone mullioned windows and gabled labels. The ground floor incorporates a three-light stone mullioned window to the left and a four-light window centrally, both with square labels. The entrance to Number 67 is located in the right-hand corner, featuring a 20th-century gabled and tiled porch with a glazed doorway and triangular head. A further entrance is located in a western extension to the left, serving Number 69. An attached stone garden wall extends to the north-west corner, featuring an entrance with a crocketted finial. A datestone is visible in the gable of the central dormer. The building is included on the list for its group value.
