Description

Church Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with restoration that took place in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed from coursed lias rubble, featuring Cotswold stone dressings and a Cotswold stone roof, which has a gable-end stack. It is one storey high with an attic that is illuminated by two gabled dormers, each containing a 3-light stone mullioned window. The ground floor has similar windows that are adorned with dripmoulds. The central entrance is highlighted by an overlight and a ledged and boarded door.
