Description

This is a late 17th-century house, with extensions added in the early 18th century and some alterations in the late 19th century. It is constructed of lias stone with a tile roof. The house was originally a three-room plan, with the northern room being the oldest part, as indicated by a straight joint in the construction. Chimneys are located in each gable and on the ridge of the south room. The house is one storey high with an attic, which is lit by three brick gabled dormers. There are three window openings, containing three, two, and three-light casement windows respectively. The main entrance, located to the left of the centre, features a stone architrave with a Tudor arch. A 19th-century gabled canopy with trellis sides shelters a ledged and boarded door.
