Description

The wall on the south-west side of the churchyard is a mid-19th century structure that incorporates materials from the 14th and 17th centuries. It is built of coursed lias rubble with some ashlar dressings. At the southern end, there is a gateway featuring an arch above a traceried window head, which was formerly composed of three trefoiled lights and is flanked by two 17th-century finials. The north end of the wall includes an earlier section of indeterminate date that has two slit windows. At the south end, there is a short return to the south-west that contains a 19th-century two-centred arch.
