Description

No 1 Midsummer Meadow is a house dating from the 17th century, with some alterations from the mid-19th century and 20th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick rendered infill set on a sandstone plinth, topped by a thatched roof. The building has two framed bays that run north to south, with gable-end stacks, the larger of which is located at the southern end. It is a single storey with an attic that is illuminated by two eye-brow dormers. There are three windows, which are two-light casements, and the entrance is positioned to the left of centre, featuring a stable door. The framing consists of three square panels high, supported by straight angle braces.
