Description
No 10 Karen Court is a house dating from the 17th century, with some early 19th-century and late 20th-century alterations. It features a timber frame with painted brick and rendered infill on a rubble plinth, topped by a slate roof. The building consists of three framed bays, oriented north-east to south-west, and includes a rear lean-to. There is an external brick stack on the northern gable end. The front facing the street is one storey with an attic, which is illuminated by a dormer window on the left with a lean-to roof. On the ground floor, there are three windows: two 2-light casements with plank weatherings on either side of an oriel window that has a lean-to tile roof. The framing consists of three square panels high with straight angle braces at the gable end.
