Description

A barn, dating to the 17th century, converted into three houses. The barn is timber-framed with rendered and painted brick infill, set on a rubble plinth and covered by a tile roof. It originally had three bays aligned north-east to south-west, and a former threshing floor now has a porch on the north-west (rear) side. The south-east front has two storeys with five windows; the outer windows are paired two-light casements, while the central window is a three-light casement set in 20th-century weatherboarding. The ground floor mirrors this pattern, with a slight recess in the central bay. The entrance to house number 14 is on the left side of the central bay, and the entrance to house number 13 is to the left of the right-hand bay entrance. House number 15 is accessed from the rear. The timber framing comprises four square panels in height with straight angle braces. The barn is attached to number 11, Karen Court, under the same roof.
