Description

This is a 17th-century house, with later 20th-century alterations, located in Dilwyn. It is timber-framed with painted brick infill and sits on a rubble plinth, topped with a tile roof. The house is two bays wide, aligned north-east to south-west, and has an external rubble stack with a brick shaft on the northern gable end. The front of the house, facing the street (southeast), is two stories high. It has two 2-light casement windows. The ground floor has a fixed casement to the left and a 3-light casement to the right. A lean-to tiled canopy shelters the 20th-century ledged and boarded front door, with a fixed casement window directly to its left. The timber framing is arranged in five square panels, with diagonal bracing visible on the exposed northern gable truss. Numbers 13, 14, and 15 Karen Court, which are part of the same structure under the same roof, are attached to the south.
