Description
The Cock Inn is a public house and dwelling that dates from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and brick nogging, topped with a thatched roof resting on a rubble plinth. The building is low and two storeys high, framed in square panels measuring 12 by 2, and is divided into three main bays by arched braced posts. To the left of the doorway, there is one bay with a casement window, while two bays are located to the right. Above the right side, there are two eyebrow dormers, and a small light is positioned over the door. The building features gable and axial stacks.
