Description
Helloge House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of regular coursed limestone rubble, with the left end rendered. The house features a steeply pitched red tile roof and stone coped gables, along with a brick end stack set on a stone base. The building has a T-plan and stands two storeys tall, with a two-window range. The elevation facing the road includes an entrance on the right with a six-panelled door, a wooden door frame, and an overlight. To the left, there is a three-light wooden casement window, and on the first floor, there are two three-light wooden casement windows. All windows have stone sills and wooden lintels, and they are fitted with wrought-iron casement fasteners and springs. Above the door, there is a date plaque with a shield that reads SS/1884. The interior has not been inspected.
