Description
Rose Cottage is a cottage dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from regularly coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof with a brick stack at one end. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The central entrance includes a six-panelled door with two glazed panels, a wooden door frame, a wooden lintel, and a 20th-century rustic porch. On either side of the entrance are three-light wooden casement windows. The attic has two swept dormers, each with three-light wooden cames and leaded lights, and some windows contain crown glass. Rose Cottage is part of a row of three cottages. The interior has not been inspected.
