Description
Restways is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick laid in Flemish bond and features a slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has three storeys and a three-window range, with a central entrance that is accessed by three semi-circular stone steps. The doorway is highlighted by an open pedimented fluted doorcase, panelled reveals, a six-panelled door, and a fanlight above. On either side of the entrance, there are 16-pane sash windows with keyblocks and rubbed brick heads. The first floor has two similar windows and a blocked fake window, while the second floor features three smaller windows of the same style. All windows are equipped with stone sills and glazing bars. The building also has a moulded and chamfered stone eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
