Description
Rose Tree Cottage is a cottage built in the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of regular coursed limestone rubble and features a 20th-century tile roof with a brick stack at one end. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. It has a three-window range, with a central entrance that includes a plank door set within a wooden door frame and topped by a wooden lintel. On either side of the entrance, there are a three-light and a two-light casement window, both with glazing bars and wooden lintels. The attic contains two two-light and one three-light wooden casement window with leaded lights, and some of the windows feature crown glass. Rose Tree Cottage is part of a row of three cottages. The interior has not been inspected.
