Description
The front railings and garden wall to the east side of Ivy House, likely built in the 19th century, feature an ashlar plinth supporting iron railings. The wall is constructed from sandstone and limestone rubble. The railings across the front of Ivy House include round bars topped with spear finials, and there is a matching gate on the left. The wall that screens the garden to the east is approximately 2 meters high and 12 meters long, with a quoined vehicle entrance on the left. The wall then returns south, rising to about 3 meters in height, and has rounded copings. This structure contributes to the overall setting of Ivy House.
