Description
Belvoir Cottage is an early 19th-century house located on Butts Road in Bakewell. It is constructed from coursed dressed gritstone and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and a two-window range, with large quoins on the left side. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door set within a bonded ashlar surround. To the left of the door, there is a former shop window that has a projecting stone sill and a 24-pane casement window beneath a deep lintel. The window to the right of the door, as well as those on the first floor, also have projecting sills and ashlar surrounds. There is a brick stack at the left end and a stone stack at the right end. The interior has not been inspected.
