Description
This is an 18th-century house, altered later. The front and right side are built of dressed sandstone, while the left side and rear are of coursed rubble. The roof is tiled with pantiles and has brick stacks, one of which has been rebuilt. The front facade is two stories high with a three-window arrangement. A 20th-century half-glazed door is in the centre, flanked by three-light, small-pane, horizontal sliding sash windows. A similar two-light window is at the right end. The first floor has a two-light small-pane horizontal sliding sash window between two three-light sliding sash windows. All windows have renewed stone sills. The ground-floor openings have heavy plain stone lintels, while the first-floor openings have painted timber lintels. The building is listed for its group value.
