Description
This is a mid-19th century house, now divided into three separate dwellings. The building is constructed of squared rubble and rubble stone, with a concrete tiled hipped roof featuring two ridge stacks. It is three storeys high and double-fronted, with 16-pane sashes to the upper floor. The first floor has two larger sashes, featuring a central arched blank panel. The ground floor has two pairs of sashes, with a tall, centrally positioned segmental-arched doorway, complete with a keystone. A 20th-century door and overlight are present. The south side includes an unmoulded two-light window to the upper floor, three 12-pane sashes to the first floor, and a central three-light window on the ground floor. A blocked door is located to the right. The rear elevation features two unmoulded two-lights to the upper floor, two first-floor windows – originally 12-pane sashes, with one now replaced – and a ground-floor lean-to with two six-panel doors. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding area.
