Description

This is an early 18th-century house, located on the west side of High Street, Corsham. It is constructed of pebbledashed rubble stone with a stone-tiled roof. A truncated stack is situated at the south end. The house is two storeys high with an attic. The front elevation features two recessed cyma-moulded mullion windows on the first floor, each with a hood mould. The ground floor contains a 20th-century centre door, a 20th-century shop window on the left, and a 6-panel door to the right. The right-hand door is set within a moulded timber architrave with a timber hood supported by brackets. A Mansard roofed rear wing is present. This wing has a 2-light flush cyma-moulded attic window with a dripstone, and a 3-light recessed chamfered mullion window with a dripstone to the first floor.
