CORSHAM CHURCH STREET ST 8770 5/93 No 1 (formerly listed as No 1 and 20.12.60 Premises occupied by F. Dyke, High Street) GV II

House and shop, C18, roughcast rubble stone and stone tiled roof, hipped at north-west angle. East end wall stack and wallface stacks at north-west and south-west angles. Two storeys and attic, 'L'-plan. North front, to Church Street, has hipped dormer, flush quoins at north-west angle, coved stone eaves cornice and 2-window range. Two upper 12-pane sashes in raised bead-moulded surrounds. Ground floor 6-panel door with overlight in chamfered surround with pediment on brackets over and early C19 sixteen-pane sash to right. West front, to High Street, has similar cornice and upper 2 windows. Ground floor early C19 twelve-pane sash and C20 neo- Georgian shopfront with half-glazed door and 12-pane shop window. In rear angle is ashlar stair tower with hipped tiled roof and tripartite 4-12-4 pane sash.
