Description
No. 2 Church Street is a house that dates from the early 19th century and is an alteration of an earlier structure. It is built of pebbledashed rubble stone and features a low-pitched slate roof with a ridge stack and a west end stack. The building has a four-window range and is two stories tall. Originally, it consisted of two houses, each with a one-window range of 16-pane sash windows to the left of the door, with a 12-pane sash window above. The door on the right side is a six-panel design with an overlight, set in a chamfered surround topped with a pediment on brackets, which is similar to the door of No. 1 Church Street. The left side door is a four-panel design with an overlight in a segmental arched surround.
