Description
No 59 is a 17th-century house located on High Street in Corsham. It is constructed from rubble stone and features a stone tiled roof with a stack at the north end. The building stands two and a half storeys tall and has a canted front. On the left side, there is a dormer gable that contains a 2-light recessed chamfered mullion window. The main facade has a three-window range with dripcourses above, with the left side being canted. The first floor has three 2-light recessed chamfered mullion windows. On the ground floor, there is a 12-pane sash window next to a door that is set in a chamfered surround and has a hood supported by brackets. To the right, there are two 2-light recessed cyma-moulded mullion windows. At the rear, there is a rubble stone wing that includes a 2-light recessed chamfered mullion-and-transom window with a hoodmould on the end wall.
